About Farha
William Butler Yeats asked "How can we know the dancer from the dance?" Farha means "Joy" in Arabic and this is both the goal and the driving passion behind her dancing. She loves to see audiences full of smiling faces, children being her favorites for their enthusiasm, and delights in opening people's minds to the beauty and depth of this art form.
Farha is also inspired by her students as they learn to control their bodies and gain new voices in her classes. She is always seeking ways to expand her knowledge and skill with a focus on the Egyptian styles.
To see Farha perform bring the family to the Black Olive for a late dinner or come out with your girlfriends for dancing on the town! Upcoming show dates are March 31st and April 28th. Farha is also available for parties.
